I am feeling quite a bit better so far today, although I just finished my meal of solid food since supper Wednesday. Hopefully everything stays put and I continue to feel better! I definitely want to be better for tomorrow. Saturday is my favourite work day. Tomorrow is the 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who! And, tomorrow is my indulge day. I don’t want to be too sick to eat what I want on Saturday!
Actually the weekend is going to be a busy one, for all the reasons I listed for Saturday and a bunch of stuff on Sunday. Kane and I are greeters at church in the morning. I am going to a Christmas craft sale with my girlfriend, and then I’m going to her house for the Grey Cup in the afternoon. Sunday is also a no carb day, so I need to think about what sort of appetizer I can bring to the party and what I can eat that day to get enough fat and protein. It’s going to be tricky, I think.
The no carb days are getting easier, although I definitely need to plan ahead to make certain that I do have the right numbers of carbs, fats and proteins. There is no such thing as ‘winging it’ on a no carb day! Much too stressful. This Sunday may be the first time I have a no carb day where I am not in a controlled environment, like at work or at home. It will be a challenge, but I’m sure I can do it.
